A CENTER FOR ARCHITECTURAL PRODUCTION AND EXCHANGE: DESIGNING AN IN-CITY CAMPUS FOR A SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE IN PARIS
The school of architecture should be part of the city. In order to provide this situation, site is feeded by pedestrian roads from Parc de la Villette, metro station and urban fabric.
The interaction between students and public is one of the most important issue for the architectural education. The 'Interface' block act as a seperator for the park and school of architecture, while connect them with its public usage spaces. This block invite the people to be part of this school with welcoming exhibition hall, amphitheatre, experimentation spaces and workshop spaces. Also, studios improve dialogues between students with their land distributions and open plans. Because nature is another important issue for the architecture, studios have both visual and physical connection with the canal and green areas.
